How do I register my Tax ID Number with County Line Auction?

When creating an account on our bidding platform, you will find a field to enter your Tax ID Number. You will also need to provide documentation of your tax-exempt status at or prior to pickup.

What is a Maximum Bid?

A Maximum Bid is the highest dollar amount you are willing to pay for an item or asset.

How does placing a Maximum Bid work?

When you place a Maximum Bid, you authorize the bidding system to bid on your behalf up to the maximum amount you have submitted. The system will automatically bid only as much as necessary to maintain your position as the high bidder, up to your maximum bid.

Bidding Extension on Online-Only Auctions

If a bid is placed within the last 1 minute before a lot is scheduled to close, bidding on that lot will be extended for an additional 1 minute. The bidding may continue to extend as long as additional bids are placed.

How do I get notified about upcoming auctions?

There are several ways to stay informed about upcoming County Line Auction events:

  • Enroll in our email registry to receive notifications about upcoming auctions and reminders a day or two before each auction.
  • Follow us on Facebook for auction announcements and updates.
  • Follow us on Tik Tok for additional auction information.
  • Follow us on Instagram for additional auction information.
  • Check our website frequently and add it to your “Favorites.”
  • Call our office during business hours, and we will be happy to provide information about upcoming auctions.

I won an item. What are my next steps?

After winning an item, you will:

  • Receive an email with your invoice from countylineauctionllc@outlook.com.
  • Receive a text or email, when applicable, with information regarding pickup or shipping.
  • Pay for your item(s) according to the auction’s payment terms.
  • Pick up your item(s) during the designated pickup period.

Important: Please read the terms and conditions for each auction carefully. Payment, pickup, and shipping terms may vary from auction to auction.

What Types of Payment Are Accepted?

Depending on the auction, County Line Auction may accept:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Wire Transfer (required for most purchases over $1,000)
  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express)

Please review the specific auction terms for accepted payment methods, as they may vary by auction.

Equipment Removal

Removal terms will be posted prominently for each auction. Not every auction has the same removal requirements. You must carefully read the removal terms for each auction in which you participate.
